Key Responsibilities:
- Business:
- Execute the Human Resources plan as per given by the Head of HR, and ensure strategies are effectively communicated to employees and support the achievement of the business’s growth and objectives.
- Ensures it meets organizational priorities and promotes diversity, inclusion and quality among staff, support in periodically reviewing strategy outcomes to ensure it remains relevant to changing organizational needs and circumstances and stays linked to other support function/operational strategies.
- Support proposed and implemented systems or processes that meet the needs of a fast-changing and talent driven business.
- Process:
- Ensure all local process and policies are compliant with local legislation such as but not limited to Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE), Ministry of Labour (MOL), Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Department of Health (DOH).
- Work closely with the team leads and management team to support the business to achieve its objectives through the design and delivery of a people plan to build strong culture. - Provide advice and guidance on all people related matters, independent advice to colleague on HR related matters.
- Employee Relation:
- Handle employee queries, handle grievances and employee relations, to resolve workplace conflict and create team effectiveness.
- Employee Life Cycle-Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Manage and streamlines the onboarding processes for all Unilabs employees, collection of the documents, processing of the visa and identifying all new employees and their hiring managers prior to each individual’s start date.
- Conduct HR onboarding programme for new employees, maintain employee files and records in-system and paper form, issue HR related letters such as but not limited to: salary certificate, certificate of employment, licensing certificates etc.
- Administer the offboarding process for departing employees including but not limited to conducting exit interview, ensure proper exit clearance, calculating the EOSB, deactivating bank card if applicable, cancelling medical insurance and filing of the clearance documents, etc.
- Employee Engagement:
- Engage and build great relationships with employees to cultivate a positive work environment and develop greater value from the contributions of our employees.
- Design and deliver employee engagement strategies to develop and retain talent.
- Plan and execute communication to ensure updates/information is communicated to employees in real time, encourage employees to express what they think, feel and experience.
- Gain feedback from employees via formal/informal communication channels: Townhalls, one on one, skip levels etc.
- Support the organization of Employee Engagement activities and Human Resource initiatives, such as team events, office initiatives and celebrations.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Provide monthly payroll data to payroll team such as: new joiner’s salary and bank details, deductions and employee exits.
- Ensure that employee benefits are competitive and as per market standard, in alignment with People & Culture Director
Qualifications:
Experience
- 5-7 for years of HR Experience, preferably with at least 1 to 2 years’ experience in Healthcare Industry.
- Knowledge of HR Processes and Policies
- Knowledge of UAE and KSA labor law and legal compliance
- Bachelor’s Degree holder (Human Resource Degree or Certificate is a plus)
- Language Preference-Arabic and English is a must.
